This will convert it to a new 26 digit digital license key that will be permanently stored on your Games & Subscriptions page. Please redeem your 16 digit physical CD key on your account. You cannot use a 16 digits physical CD key to install online. not sure why there’s no prompt or information given to the client to fix up the issue that many are having, non the less I’m at the install area and have no CD keys please hook me up with a valid CD key, ps I have read all this. To install Diablo II you must enter a Diablo II key. Diablo 2 & LoD and I do not have my CD keys from my old games, I downloaded new and I’m without CD- Key’s. You cannot use a Lord of Destruction key to install Diablo II. If the online installer doesn't accept your key, make sure you are entering the correct one. The online installer will ask you to enter your 26 digit license key -you can find your key on your Games & Subscriptions page. Just go to and once you have logged in it will show Diablo II and Lords of.
Delete the old CD installer from your computer and download the latest installer from the Blizzard downloads page. My CD-Key is old but is original, has 16 digits and not 26 as request /When you attached your 16 digit key to your Blizzard account it will have converted it to the new 26 digit keys. You cannot install from CD anymore -your original 16 digits physical CD key will not work. However, if you registered your physical copy of Diablo II on your account, your original 16 digits CD key was converted to a new 26 digit digital license key.
When you install Diablo II from a CD, the installer will ask you to enter the 16 digits CD key found inside the box.
